J.H. Poddar High School & Junior College is an English medium school and Junior college of Commerce & Science situated in Bhayandar West. The school is affiliated by Maharashtra State Board and run and manage by Shri Bhayandar Kelvani Mandal. Late Shri Purushattambhai Patel donated the Mandal's land and Shri Tejpalji Poddar gave his financial support to build the school and to put this School's dream in a reality. Shri Bhayandar Kelvani Mandal was established in the year 1981 and J.H. Poddar high school commenced its academic programme for Hindi & Gujarati medium in the year 1983, in the small campus of Jain Bhuvan. Initially the School was only in Hindi & Gujarati mediums but after great success of the school in both the mediums and on high demand from the parents the School added English Medium & Junior college of Commerce & Science for students. Now the school is managed in well-built Three storied building with all necessary infrastructures with spacious smart class rooms and laboratory for the students. The School has 56 rooms along with many facilities, like water cooler, intercom system, CCTV Surveillance, Fire Extension, Speakers etc,. School is having a E-Library with vast books collection in all category, online-offline books collection in the computer, Science & Computer lab for students. apart from this school is occupied with Play-ground.
